Base Kit - $1599

Includes the following:

Complet bracket kit to mount IRS unit.  Bracket kits are manufactured in the USA and include the following features:

                 *Precision laser cutting 

                    *Tig welding where required

                    *Mounting brackets are powder coated for durability

                    *Bolts and hardware are grade 8 (std.) and 10.9 (metric)

                    *Stainless steel frame inserts resist corrosion

Koni single adjustable coil over shock absorbers

                    * Koni coilover shocks were designed for Formula 1 race cars.  Koni shocks have also been synonymous with Ford performance for almost 40 years.  Single adjustable shocks can be adjusted without removing them from the car!

Deluxe Kit - $1999

Includes all of the above except this kit includes Koni's top of the line, dual adjustable performance shocks for the ultimate in performance.

NOTE: IRS unit is not included in the kit price.  This kit fits the 1999-2003 Mustang Cobra IRS unit and will not work with the T-Bird unit.

 

Optional Equipment

Brake Kit - $80

Kit includes (2) conversion fittings, brake lines, proportioning valve and line tee.  Requires trimming and double flaring of rear brake line.

Emergency Brake Adapter - $50

Converts the existing stock emergency handle to the late model Cobra brake cables. Includes custom length stainless steel cable, line connector and cable mounts.

Driveshafts

= NO!  = Yes!

DVS Restorations, Inc. does NOT recommend the use of the tube within a tube style driveshafts for any kind of performance application.  We recommend Patterson Driveshafts for the best in quality and performance. Patterson's offers both a steel and aluminum driveshafts to fit any application needed, using only the best construction available.  Individual parts also available to make your own shaft. NOTE: Because of transmission, engine and front suspension variations, please call with exact length needed.

Small Output Driveshaft Assembly - $275
Steel shaft assembly .083 gauge construction All new parts. Includes C4, small output toploaders, small output AOD, T-5 applications Max length 54 inches.

Large Driveshaft Assembly - $279

Steel shaft assembly .083 gauge construction All new parts Includes C6, large output toploaders, large output AODs, T-45 applications. Max. length 54 inches.

Aluminum Shaft Assembly - $371

Lightweight Aluminum construction for high performance applications.  .0125 wall construction, big output applications.

IRS Units

DVS Restorations, Inc. has available new IRS units direct from Ford.  These are the current production assemblies used in the 2003 Cobra Mustang.  They have all the latest upgrades including 3.55 to 1 gears, 31 spline axles, upgraded U-joints, improved bushings and refined control arm configurations.  Call for additional details.  Please Note: the assemblies come without brakes, and are sold with no warranty.  Please contact us for additional information.  All rear axle assemblies are special order and require pre-payment.
