FLAMING RIVER RACK AND PINION SYSTEMS ARE HERE!

We've been waiting a long time for a rack and pinion steering system that we would want to put on our own cars, and now we've found it. Flaming River has now introduced it own line of true end steer, quick ratio racks that feel like power racks. The other advantages to this rack are:

* No fabrications to the frame.

* No frame removal.

* No welding, uses existing frame mount points to install.

* A true end steer rack - eliminates the inner and outer tie rod system from the original system but retains the original suspension.

* A true bolt-in kit that comes complete with tilt steering column and all the necessary hardware to install!

* Available in standard finish or trick tubular/billet setups!

We are going to install one of the racks into our 65 fastback project (shown below) and write a complete how-to article in an upcoming issue of Mustang and Fords Magazine. This car has already been upgraded with tubular front suspension and one of our rear IRS kits. The Flaming River rack system will allow us to install the 4.6 GT 2V engine with minimal clearance problems for headers and oil pan selection.
